QLA Insurance provided its private clients with practical and real-life guidance for planning, investing and budgeting for the new year at the “Annual Plan 2024” event.

QLA Insurance’s private event “Annual Plan 2024” took place in Tallinn’s Radisson Collection Hotel on January 1, focusing on real-life financial experiences in Estonia, the euro area and Europe.

At the event, renowned experts gave concrete answers to questions:

What is going to happen in the coming year in different areas and how will these decisions affect the economy as a whole?
What are the speakers’ business and investment plans for the coming year and how have asset management firms changed their plans in the wake of the bubble crises?

In the first presentation of the day, Combat Ready CEO and instructor Remo Ojaste immediately set a disciplined and concrete tone for the event, stressing that every day is like starting from scratch and encouraging everyone to face their fears.

Remo Ojaste runs his own company Combat Ready providing leadership consultancy and training, developing better leaders through the principles of personal accountability. Remo himself is a former Special Operations Group Special Forces soldier from Estonia. As the co-founder and CEO of Combat Ready, Remo brings the resilience of top soldiers and the high standards of the military to the world of civilians. His company’s motto is “Everybody is a leader” and he believes that becoming a good leader takes time, but this process can be accelerated through conscious coaching.

Epp Kärsin, an ever-inspiring trainer, shared practical tips and deep insights to help listeners build richer relationships with themselves, money and others.

Former top athlete, entrepreneur, real estate investor, mentor and trainer Gerda Rand spoke about the power of positive suggestion. She shared her very personal and life-changing experience with everyone in the audience and encouraged everyone to believe that they can make a difference in their lives. In addition to her success in business and sport, Gerda is an active educator who inspires others to reach their potential. She speaks from experience, teaches strategies and shares secrets on how to achieve excellence in any field.

Hans Uku Leitham, financial advisor at QLA Insurance, gave an insight into the future of sustainable finance and why ESG principles are increasingly indispensable in the financial world.

The panel of asset management companies included Peter Lindahl, Head of Systematic Funds and Portfolio Manager at EVLI Bank, Joanna Głowala, Head of Sales for Poland and the Baltic region at C-Quadrat ARTS Asset Management, and Ago Lauri, Portfolio Manager at Kawe Kapital, who, led by Christopher Voolaiu, Founder and CEO of QLA Insurance, opened the door to the investment trends of the near future. With the focus on China and the end of 0% interest rates, what will the future hold for the financial world? The discussion can be summed up by Ago Lauri’s words that it is still worth investing in those companies that can survive.

Media and environmental expert Andri Peetso spoke about the importance of creating a healthy environment and shared some practical and exciting tips on how to do so.

The day was rounded off by Christopher Voolaid, founder and CEO of QLA Insurance, a visionary in the financial world and an advocate for occupational pensions, who shared practical tips on how to set ‘impossible’ goals and create your own vision and implement it on a daily basis.
